2 Process Paper When I was a fourth grader I read this book known as Letters From Rifka it was mainly about a Jewish girl who left Germany in order to escape persecution, and how she did it. That was the first time I heard about the Holocaust. The second time I came upon the holocaust, was when I was researching for my NHD project and decided to research this topic so that I could know more. My topic The Holocaust ties to the theme because it paved the way for the state of Israel because, many of the Jews that ran away from the Nazis moved to Palestine and other places, while 1/3 of the Aryan race (Jews, Gypsies, Handicapped, Homosexuals, ect.) died by being gassed, shot, or worked to death. Israel now has a great impact on the world, it has caused the war in Iraq, and many other things. I got most of my research by using websites; most of them were full of long pages of detailed information. Those were the ones I trusted. I made my website pretty simple to navigate. I first researched and then divided my research into four categories. How it All Began, What Was Happening, How it Ended, and How it Affects Us Today.
