Working Title: Silhouette Genre: Horror, Thriller Time Period: contemporary Location: London Budget: Low to Medium Target market/Demographic Focus: Male-Female, Teen-Adults aged 15-35 LOGLINE An urban dramatic thriller which involves a retired detective whose attention is caught by six mysterious killings and especially by the fact that one of the victims is his nephew Aaron. Motivated by his own ignorance and loss of his nephew hes determined to get back into the game to solve the mystery but gets more than he bargains for when he finds out what or who is killing these people TREATMENT Paul Jefferson a 59 year old whos bored of retirement looking for any reason to get back in the game notices a pattern of 6 similar killings involving his nephew that seem to have gone unheard of in the police force from some of his sources, when he goes back to his old work place to question why it hasnt been looked into, all the police officers who once respected him tell him that he is a fool and that is none of his concern before harshly throwing him out. Paul then decides to take things into his own hands by figuring out clues from all the victims routines and what they did before they were killed. Meanwhile, conflicting problems at home make things much more difficult for Paul, his family dont support him in this line of work in fear that he may share the same fate as their beloved Aaron and especially now where his old age may hinder him. As expected all of Pauls snooping around, it attracts attention to whatever is killing people and has the motivation to get rid of Paul before they are discovered by his investigation. When Paul finally comes face to face with the source of all these barbaric and odd killings, he is stunned to find out that it is the police force behind a scandalous, political conspiracy.
