JOB DESCRIPTION

Summary: The Automator is responsible for developing and executing test automation scripts and automation frameworks to be used for functional and regression testing of applications in a continuous integration environment. Accepting full responsibility for high quality and timely completion of work. This position is ideal for someone looking to contribute energy, technical know-how and responsibility to a high-speed development environment. Responsibilities: Test software using automated testing tools. Design and write automation test plans/scripts. Integrate the test suites into the test management system. Provide the Team Lead with time estimates for test case development and execution. Perform the setup and execution of automated test tools. Identify, log and track defects, and assists with root-cause analysis of defects discovered.

Mandatory Requirements: Demonstrate knowledge of test automation tools, techniques, methods, standards and procedures. Experience with Selenium and WebDriver Experience of testing software using a Java and Web (HTML, JavaScript, PHP, CSS) platform. Ability to integrate automated tests execution in a Continuous Integration environment. Ability to cope with fast changing technologies used in application developments. Ability to prioritize work effort and ensure that tasks are completed on schedule to meet business initiatives. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a team environment. Good level of written and spoken English

Preferable Requirements: ISEB or ISTQB qualification Experience with technical testing (for example SOAP UI) Experience with the analysis of system and application logs.
