Liability and Consent Release / Waiver for 2013 Chappell Family Reunion

READ CAREFULLY - THIS AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS

In Exchange for participation in the activity of 2013 Chappell Family Reunion and all reasonable and related activities which may include swimming, contact sports, and eating etc. organized by Glory Goree and all designated helpers including John Goree, Michelle Holly, Dwana Style, Felicia Williams, and Janice Williams, and others as chosen (Goree et. al.) of Mineola TX and/or use of the property, facility, and services of Goree et. al., I agree for myself, and where applicable, for the members of my family who are registered with me, to the following: 1. I agree to observe and obey all posted rules and warnings, and further agree to follow any oral instructions or directions given by Goree et. al., the representatives or agents of Goree et. al. 2. I recognize that there are certain inherent risks associated with the above described activity and I assume full responsibility for personal injury to myself , and (if applicable) to my family members who are registered with me, and further release and discharge Goree et. al. for injury, loss, or damage arising out of my or my familys use of or presence upon the facilities organized by Goree et. al. whether caused by the fault of myself, my family, Goree et. al., or other third parties. 3. I agree to indemnify or defend Goree et. al. against all claims, causes of actions, damages, judgments, costs or expenses including attorney fees and other litigation costs, which may in any way arise from my or my familys use of or presence upon the facilities organized by Goree et. al. 4. I agree to pay for all damages to the facilities organized by Goree et. al. caused by my or my familys negligent, reckless, or willful actions. 5. Any legal or equitable claim that may arise from participation in the above will be resolved under Texas law.
