Four Cores

600/1000 Volts - XLPE insulated multi cores cables with Copper

or Aluminum conductor armoured (SWA)

Description:
Multi cores cables with circular shape compacted copper or aluminum conductors - XLPE
insulated, PVC bedding, round wires steel armoured and PVC sheathed according to IEC 60
502-1.

Construction:
1. Conductor:
Plain circular compacted copper or aluminum according to IEC 60 228 class 2.
2. Insulation:
Extruded XLPE rated 90C or continues operation.
3. Assembly:
The insulated conductors are laid-up and wrapped around with polyethylene tapes. Also suitable
filler extruded compound or separated unites (polypropylene yarns) are applied to be circular.
4. Inner sheath:
Extruded PVC as bedding.
5. Armour:
Steel wires (galvanised) applied over the bedding and steel tape may be applied to bind the wires.
6. Outer sheath:
Extruded PVC 90C flame retardant black in colour and may contain 2.5% carbon black to be sun resistance.
7. Cables are designed and tested according to IEC spec IEC 60 228, 60 502-1.

Colour for Core Identification:

Three cores: Blue-Red-Yellow.
Four - cores: Blue - Red - Yellow - Black

Applications:
For installation on trays, ducts or direct burial and cables are used for general purposes.
