Power system can be automated with help of microcontroller and various types of sensors. Unnecessary power wastage is prevented as fans are not switched on if the measured temperature does not go below 25 degrees, which is standard room temperature. This also saves the residents from being over-chilled. It consumes less power since fans and lights are automatically turned off when nobody is in the room.
