ALDO DE NIGRIS

Jess Aldo de Nigris Guajardo (born July 22, 1983 in Monterrey, Nuevo Len) is a Mexican footballer of Italian descent who currently plays for Rayados of Monterrey in the Mexican 1st Division and was part of the Mexican team that won the 2011 CONCACAF Gold Cup. De Nigris played for Tigres UANL early in his career. He was sold to Club Necaxa after CD Veracruz was demoted to the second division. On December 5, 2008, CF Monterrey announced the transfer of de Nigris from Necaxa on a loan. He had played for the Rayados' youth squad before signing a professional contract for archrival Tigres. On November 15, 2009, Aldo's brother Antonio who played for AE Larissa died from a heart attack at the age of 31. In the first game after his brother's death he dedicated his only goal to him in an Aperture 2009 playoff game against Club America on November 21, 2009
