A Perfect World The film is all about a road trip taken by a escaped convict with an unassuming kid who

he happened to kidnap on the way from the precinct. An amazing take, story progresses in a parallel way showing the escaped convict and kid as well as the cops who are in the look out for them. During the journey the kid bonds with the convict in such a way a kid would to his father. The convict lets him do many a things, which he couldnt do because he didnt have a father but only 2 sisters and a mother. The kid passively accepts the situation, and plays along even though he doesnt like much things done by the convict, a touch of Stockholm syndrome. The convict also has an bonding moment due to similar situations they grew up in, and kills his accomplice in a rut which would hurt the kid. It is shown that the convict doesnt fancy any parent abusing their children no matter the reason.
