Ch#6 (Article: 6-6 till page 315, i.e., before combinational circuit implementation) Articles like: Microprocessors, Microcontroller, ALU, Memory, Types of busses BIOS, difference b/w Microprocessor and Microcontroller,,,,, and other related theoretical stuff. will be covered by my verbal lectures and class discussion. u can also read from the 3 page notes that are available from the photocopy shop, they cover these above mentioned topics briefly.

FROM BOOK: Electronic Devices, by Floyd 6th Edition: PN Junction Diode and its applications like Rectifiers and free-wheeling diode (same as in MID exam) ONLY Diode and stuff related to diodes r included. U DONT have to study about the formation of junction or internal atomic structure of PN Junction Diode etc.

Instructions for papers: 1. Try to solve questions in the order in which they appear, dont them solve randomly. i.e., solve Question#1 first then solve Question#2 and so on 2. Calculators are not allowed during Exam. 3. U can use Lead Pencils if there r any drawings in the paper. 4. In theory questions u will lose marks if u over right, bc when student over writes, he makes more and more mistakes which lead him/her to lose marks. To keep ur answer short, compact, precise and crisp. Also plz try to write with hands not feet. 5. Follow the instructions that r written at the top or the bottom of the question paper.
