    Dear Parents/Guardians of Fourth Grade Music Students, This spring, on Wednesday, April 18, all North Muskegon Fourth Graders, as part the Link-Up program, will be attending a concert at the Frauenthal Theater presented by the West Michigan Symphony. You can learn more about Link-Up at: http://westmichigansymphony.org/educationcommunity/linkup/. At this special childrens concert the students will be performing on recorders along with the symphony. Recorders will be a main focus of my music classes this year and we are currently in the process of learning to play the pieces required to participate in the Link-up concert. The school has enough recorders so that all 4th graders will be able to participate using a school-owned instrument. (All recorders are sterilized after each use.) As a service to you, I will be ordering recorders for those who wish to purchase your own personal recorder for your child to use. The cost is $5.00 per recorder. The instruments are very nice plastic Yamaha YRS-24B Soprano Recorders.
