MISSION Zamboanga City Medical Center Emergency Department is committed to provide high quality, safe and efficient emergency medical services to the people of Western Mindanao, nearby island provinces by qualified/ competent health care providers. OBJECTIVES 1. To provide all critically ill and severely injured patients with medical/surgical evaluation, resuscitation and initial care by qualified emergency service staff. 2. To extend medical/surgical services to all acutely and ill patients. 3. To decrease the mortality and morbidity rate. 4. To have harmonious interdepartmental and inter-professional working relationship among health workers. 5. To establish team work/effort.
