Risk Assessment

Hazard Props Travel to Location Access Environment Risk

Cigarette- lighting the cigarette could potentially burn someone or cause a fire. We had to walk to our location and so there could have been a risk in crossing the roads on our way. The access to our location was in an alley and near garages and so if someone was trying to get into their garage then we may have faced issues. When we shot these photos it has previously snowed and so there was some ice around also it was in an alleyway and so we wasnt in a very ideal location.

Controlling Risk
When lighting the cigarette we made sure that we wasnt near anyone else and that we put it out when we was finished with it. When on our way to the location we made sure that we was aware of our surroundings and made sure that we was being thorough when checking if the roads were clear. When we got to our location we had to make sure that no one was trying to access their garage and was aware of this whilst shooting. We made sure that we were all wearing suitable footwear and clothing for the shoot. We were also aware of anyone that was around us.

Record
There wasnt any trouble when using the cigarette and was lit and disposed of successfully. We didnt have any trouble when walking to our location as we crossed the roads at designated places for pedestrians. We didnt face any problems when shooting at the garages as no one was in need of accessing their garage. We didnt face any problems due to the weather or our location as we were all prepared and aware throughout the shoot. N/A

Trip Risk
