Prop Choices Crowbar

In our final film we decided to use a crowbar as our weapon of choice for the killer. We wanted the villain to use a blunt and brutal type of weapon to link back to the fact that the killer had his legs broken, and that blunt objects would be the better weapon to break bones. We also got inspiration from the scene of Shaun of Dead where Shaun beats the two zombies to death with a bat a very blunt object. This scene in the film was also very brutal in the fact that blood and a crushing sound was used when the bat was hitting the zombie. The sound of the crowbar hitting the dirt also sounds like it would sound if it would hit flesh, so we decided to use the sound of that when the crowbar hits the victim in the film. Fake Blood In our film we also decided to use fake blood to put on the victim and crowbar. We wanted to make the victim in the film look like he has been almost defeated and very hurt. Blood was applied to the head of the victim to make it look like he has been hit with the crowbar on the head, causing him to fall. The victim also spits out blood in our film so we made fake blood to use in that scene.
