the sets with stunt director Peter Hein and Shankar.
But, unlike the previous leaks, this one only raises
more doubts on what exactly is the actor’s role.
Rumours are rife that the Superstar plays a dual role
– one of a scientist and that of a robot. While the
initial set of pictures showed Rajini romancing Ash
in Machu Picchu, the current set has a more “rigid”
or the “Star Wars” looks, which only makes one
wonder about Enthiran’s storyline.
The initial leaks saw the director getting red and
suspending a few assistants. In fact, Shankar had
warned action on the “mischief-monger”. But, with
at least three sets of stills releasing so far, it makes
one wonder if it is a publicity stunt.

Word’s worth
“Langsuir” (lang-soo-er) a female vampire that preys on newborn children. The langsuir (a Malayan monster)
wears a green robe, has long black hair that covers the hole on the back of her neck (through which she
sucks the blood of children), emits a whinnying cry, and can take the shape of an owl. All in all, a terrifying creature.
Another Malay vampire is the penanggalan, which also preys on newborns but has the form of a human head with a
stomach sac attached.
