    Replacing the i1iSis DLL

    11/27/2007 X-Rite has released an improved DLL connecting the i1iSis hardware to software such as ProfileMaker v5.0.8. This same DLL may also be used with third-party software. Replacing the older DLL is a manual process. Below the replacement process is detailed. 1. Close any and all applications that interface with the i1iSis. 2. Navigate to the root folder of the target application: examples a. ProfileMaker v5.0.8 b. ColorPort v1.5.4 c. etc. 3. Locate the old copy of EyeOne_iSis.dll and rename the file to: EyeOne_iSis.dll.sav This will provide a backwards path in the event that the new DLL fails to function as expected. 4. Copy the new EyeOne_iSis.dll into this folder. The above steps may be repeated for any and all other applications (RIPs, etc.) that make used of the i1iSis hardware. Simply replace the older dll with the new.
