Building standards were high, even though a lot of houses had been demolished or used as Jerry buildings. Builders used eclecticism as the major style for the houses. The decoration was made of stone and it often used gothic and classical elements. Builders used the Victorian o Edwardian style, also called vernacular for the facades. New forms of transport had appeared, like the omnibus that it was pulled by a horse, then appeared the train-bus (I dont remember its name) and then after a few years later the motor bus. The new forms of transport service extended in England quickly. Commuter routes appear, helping middle class people to get to their jobs from far away quickly. Electricity was invented and it was installed in the suburbs at the surrounds of London, making the suburbs more popular and developed than the center of the city. This cause that a lot of people majorly middle class workers moved there.

How did I fell about this exercise?? (in Spanish) Mejor que la vez pasada, creo que ya me estoy acostumbrando a hacerlo, y es mas rpido que el de ideas principales, aunque hay un menor anlisis del texto se me queda mejor grabado, aunque el texto no sirve de mucho, pienso que debera de ser uno mas interesante =).
