Filipino Christmas Party

Student Actors Think Big

The Filipino-American Association of Lincoln had its Christmas party in December in the UNL Student Union ballroom. The celebration was called Pasko Sa Nayon (which means Christmas in the nation in the Philippines). The formal occasion was well-attended by people from all over eastern and central Nebraska. The program included a welcome by the groups president, Maria Johnso n. The opening was followed by a meal and a number of traditional Filipino dances . The event ended with a DJ and American dancing.
