Thoroughly understand and document the customers requirements, obtain customer agreement in writing, and put requirements documents under version identification and change control. Requirements management is the leading success factor for systems development projects. 3. Prepare a plan that defines the scope, schedule, cost, and approach for a reasonable project. Involve task owners in developing plans and estimates, to ensure feasibility and buy-in. Use a work breakdown structure to provide coherence and completeness to minimize unplanned work. 4. Build a good team with clear ownership. Get good people and trust them. Establish clear ownership of well-defined tasks; ensure they have tools and training needed; and provide timely feedback. communications of team progress, assumptions, and issues. Conduct methodical reviews of management and technical topics to help manage customer expectations, improve quality, and identify problems before they get out of hand. Trust your indicators. 6. Establish baselines for the product using configuration management and for the project using cost and schedule baseline tracking. solutions.
7. Write Important Stuff Down, Share it, and Save it. Documenting thoughts allows them to

A project must have clearly documented objectives and scope to give the project a stable target to achieve. Word processor (create scope related documents), excel (develop charts and graphs, calculations), communication softwares (e-mails) and the project management softwares (WBS, Gantt chart) are helps to project scope management.

Time management Estimate time requirements. Ability to priorities and think ahead in order to complete several tasks running simultaneously. Project time management involves the processes required to ensure timely completion. Process has 5 activities.

Work break down structure (WBS) Networking diagram Gantt chart Schedule development Schedule control

Cost management:

The total expected cost of a project should be known throughout it s life. This means that lifecycle costs, including cost to complete, operate and maintain should be determined The project manager should ensure that the project s cost estimates at each phase of the project are as accurate as the available information allows and that of the project cost forecasts are not changed without the formal approval of the project s sponsor. Net Present value Analysis Net present value (NPV) analysis is a method of calculating the expected net monetary gain or loss from a project by discounting all expected future cash inflows and outflows to the present point in time Calculating NPV Discount Rate The cost of capital which usually the present interest rate Discount factor this is the ratio by which in each year the project cash flow need to be multiplied to find out the present value. Discount factor = 1/ (1+R) T T-Time period R- Interest Rate Discount factor calculated according to the scenario. The Transaction Process System project should be completed within one year and estimated cost is $`100,000. The ongoing cost of Rs.10, 000 each year for the following four years. The estimated benefits are Rs.30, 000 first year after implementation and Rs.40, 000 per year for the next two years. The discount rate for the project is 8%. Based on the above details the NPV and ROI have been calculated for the Transaction Processing System. 1 financial year = 3 months Transaction Processing System Benefits Cost Discount Rate Discount Benefit Discount Cost Year 0 Rs. 0.00 Rs. 100,000.00 1 0 Rs. 100,000.00 Year 1 Rs. 30,000.00 Rs. 10,000.00 0.9 Rs. 27,000.00 Rs. 9,000.00 Year 2 Rs. 40,000.00 Rs. 10,000.00 0.8 Rs. 32,000.00 Rs. 8,000.00 Year 3 Rs. 40,000.00 Rs. 10,000.00 0.7 Rs. 28,000.00 Rs. 7,000.00

Intranet An intranet is a private computer network system. That uses Internet Protocol technologies to securely share any part of an organization's information or network operating system within the organization. The term is used in contrast to internet, a network between organizations, and instead refers to a network within an organization. Sometimes the term refers only to the organization's internal website, but may be a more extensive part of the organization's information technology infrastructure. It may host multiple private websites and constitute an important component and focal point of internal communication and collaboration. Introduction The Abans organizations has identified that as they are growing there are some drawbacks in the Information Technological area in their company and they need to upraise the information technology area to become more efficient in their business, Considering these facts Abans Chairman has planned to come up with a Intranet solution for the New Kandy Abans showroom and sales center that will enable the employees to maintain proper communication and reduce costs in many ways. This implementation of Intranet between the Showrooms would increase the productivity of the company.

2. PLANNING PROCESS Software development process model

DYNAMIC SYSTEM DEVELOPMENT METHOD (DSDM) This model is matches to all kind of software. Feasibility is inbuilt in this model. At first they develop the software and show it to the user. If they are not satisfied with that, they add new features to the software and show to the user again. It will happen circularly till the user satisfies. This model includes umbrella activity also. Envisioning Business Analysis Planning Technical Analysis

Deploying User Acceptance

Stabilizing Professional QA

Developing Implementation

Reasons for selecting Dynamic System Development Method: Using this process model system can be developed in a short period of time and low costs. Users are active members in the development process. This is key to the success of the project or else the user community may have no ownership in the solution. Object Oriented Methodology closely represents the problem domain. Because of this, it is easier to produce and understand designs.

The objects in the system are immune to requirement changes. Therefore, allows changes more easily As this is agile process model, as team we can develop a more successful system with innovative ideas. Testing is not treated as a separate activity. As the system is developed incrementally, it is also tested and reviewed by both developers and users incrementally to ensure that the

A work breakdown structure (WBS)

A work breakdown structure (WBS) is a process for defining the final and intermediate products of a project and their relationships. WBS allows a team to accomplish its general requirements by partitioning a large task into smaller components and focusing on work that can be more easily accomplished. A work breakdown structure is an essential element in project planning and project management. In the quality planning process, WBS begins with a generalized goal and then identifies progressively finer levels of actions needed to accomplish the goal. 1. Intranet Project Abans 1.1. Gantt chart

57

[Project Management]
[Intranet Implementation] Gantt Charts are important tools that help you plan and manage complex projects.

58

They help you work out the order in which tasks need to be carried out; allow you to identify the resources needed to complete the project, along with the times when these resources will be needed; help you work out the quickest possible time in which a project can be completed; and help you identify the "critical path" for a project. This is the sequence of tasks that must be completed on time if you are to complete the project by a particular date. When a project is under way, Gantt Charts help you to monitor whether the project is on schedule. If it is not, they help you to pinpoint the remedial action necessary to put it back on schedule. The Gantt chart is based on the 5 working days it can be change if necessary as desired. The below diagram shows you the working time of the project

Advantages of a Gantt chart

Clarity One of the biggest benefits of a Gantt chart is the tool's ability to boil down multiple tasks and timelines into a single document. Stakeholders throughout an organization can easily understand where teams are in a process while grasping the ways in which independent elements come together toward project completion. Communication Teams can use Gantt charts to replace meetings and enhance other status updates. Simply clarifying chart positions offers an easy, visual method to help team members understand task progress. To see other ways to compile status information, check out these series of articles. Motivation Some teams or team members become more effective when faced with a form of external motivation. Gantt charts offer teams the ability to focus work at the front of a task timeline, or at the tail end of a chart segment. Both types of team members can find Gantt charts meaningful as they plug their own work habits into the overall project schedule. Coordination
58

[Project Management]
[Intranet Implementation]

59

For project managers and resource schedulers the benefits of a Gantt chart include the

ability to sequence events and reduce the potential for overburdening team members. Some project managers even use combinations of charts to break down projects into more manageable sets of tasks. Creativity Sometimes, a lack of time or resources forces project managers and teams to find creative solutions. Seeing how individual tasks intertwine on Gantt charts often encourages new partnerships and collaborations that might not have evolved under traditional task assignment systems. Time Management Most managers regard scheduling as one of the major benefits of Gantt charts in a creative environment. Helping teams understand the overall impact of project delays can foster stronger collaboration while encouraging better task organization. Flexibility Whether you use Excel to generate Gantt charts or you load tasks into a more precise chart generator, the ability to issue new charts as your project evolves lets you react to unexpected changes in project scope or timeline. While revising your project schedule too frequently can eliminate some of the other benefits of Gantt charts, offering a realistic view of a project can help team members recover from setbacks or adjust to other changes. Manageability For project managers handling complex assignments, like software publishing or event planning, the benefits of Gantt charts include externalizing assignments. By visualizing all of the pieces of a project puzzle, managers can make more focused, effective decisions about resources and timetables.

59

[Project Management]
[Intranet Implementation] Efficiency

60

Another of the benefits of Gantt charts is the ability for teams members to leverage each others deadlines for maximum efficiency. For instance, while one team member waits on the outcome of three other tasks before starting a crucial piece of the assignment, he or she can perform other project tasks. Visualizing resource usage during projects allows managers to make better use of people, places, and things. Accountability When project teams face major organizational change, documenting effort and outcomes becomes crucial to career success. Using Gantt charts during critical projects allows both project managers and participants to track team progress, highlighting both big wins and major failures. During professional review periods, team members who frequently exceed expectations can leverage this documentation into larger raises or bonuses. Milestone Planning Milestone planning is used to show the major steps that are needed to reach the goal on time. When several tasks have been completed the milestone is reached. It is often used at senior manager reviews.

Planning permission granted Foundations laid Walls constructed Roof built Fixtures, fittings and services completed Garden landscaped House inspected and approved

For simple projects, a milestone plan may be the only plan required.

Responsibility Assignment Matrix (RAM)

Responsibility Assignment Matrix is a good tool to document the level of responsibility of a project member for the project tasks. Utilizing PMI PMBOK levels of responsibility in a project, one can think of these levels using the acronym PARIS. P - Participant; involved, but not at a critical level A - Accountable; must answer to management for the project task status R - Review Needed I - Input Needed S - Sign off Required Below is an example of part of a Responsibility Assignment Matrix of the Intranet Project for Abans Company: Project name : Intranet Project Prepared by: Irshad, Shifa, Shifana, Sachitha , Kugeshan, Date: 1st of July 2011 Person\ Phase Requirements P Functional Design Development Testing A P P P A A R R R S I R R S A P S S S I A S S S I A R R R S S I I I S S I I I Irsahd Shifa Shifana Sachitha Kugeshan Insaf Tom Sean

Feasibility study
The feasibility study is basically the test of the proposed system in the light of its workability, meeting users requirements, effective use of resources and of course, the cost effectiveness. The main goal of feasibility study is not to solve the problems but to achieve the scope. After the information gathered about the user requirements and information systems, mainly we have to consider about three things, which are: Technical feasibility It checks that the project is technically feasible. Does the organization have the technology and skill to carry out the system? Operational feasibility Operational feasibility covers two aspects, one is technical performance aspect. It includes determining whether the system can provide the right information at the right place at right time. The second is acceptance within the organization; it revolves around the current system and its personnel. Economic feasibility This evaluation looks at the financial aspects of the software. It determines whether the investment is needed to implement the system will be recovered. The following are considered under economic feasibility: Cost of hardware and software. Consulting expenses. Cost of system analysis and design. License fees. Facility cost.

64

[Project Management]
[Intranet Implementation] Risk management

65

A Risk can be defined as the probability of happening a threat. Risks and vulnerabilities are not dangerous considered separately, but they can produce a threat when joined together. In other words this is the opportunity that a disaster will occur. Risks cannot be reduced or managed completely. If we are careful about how we treat the environment and if we are aware of our weaknesses then we can make sure that risks will not turn into threats. Risk management is one of the essential phrases in project management these days. A risk management plan will then seek to mitigate or eliminate of risks, hopefully avoiding the consequences. Normally project managers and business managers use it as a kind of 'code' to describe when the project has stuffed up. Risk identification Determining which risks are likely to affect the project and documenting the characteristics of each. Risk register This is a document that contains results of various risk management processes, often displayed in a table or spread sheet format. Develop risk memos For each risk identified a risk memo is completed. This provides an opportunity of the importance and significance of a risk to be thought through Develop Probability/Impact matrix This is a simple device for helping to find the risks that are the highest priority for the project. Risk monitoring and control A document regarding monitoring known is risks, identifying new risks, reducing risks, and evaluating the effectiveness of risk reduction throughout the project.

Risk Identification Techniques

During risk identification, it is important to seek out the 'real' risks. There are various methods and tools available for capturing the risks that can happen within a project. Matrix Solutions follows some of the best recommended techniques in the risk identification process. They are listed below for your reference. These techniques may be used alone or combined, depending on the approach that is best for the team. Brainstorming Surveys Interviews Working Groups Experiential or Documented Knowledge Risk Lists - Lessons Learned Outputs From Risk-Oriented Analysis

List of prioritized risks

Risks and conditions can be prioritized by a number of criteria. Risks may also be grouped by those that require an immediate response and those that can be handled at a later date. Risks that affect cost, schedule, functionality, and quality may be assessed separately with different ratings. Significant risks should have a description of the basis for the assessed probability and impact. When we plan about the intranet project Risk manager listed down following risk as it can affect the project, so our team members could easily avoid those risk while we were dealing with project. According to the risk manager list, the most prioritized risk was understanding project properly, as it was our first project, at the first our team found difficulty in understanding the project.

Constraint (Limitation or Condition)

When we develop a system, there are some limitation and control which should be followed. These are main constraints for any of projects. Money, resources, time and staff who are involved in this project When it comes to our selected organization we concentrated on mainly following limitation

Financial limitation -system covering should be done with the budget. Technical limitation -Project should be done with technology limit, as everyone handles the project.

Time Limitation- The project should be completed within the planned time frame.

Network system for Abans Company

A network consists of two or more computers that are linked in order to share resources (such as printers and CDs), exchange files, or allow electronic communications. The computers on a network may be linked through cables, telephone lines, radio waves, satellites, or infrared light beams. What is a network topology? In communication networks, a topology is a usually description of the arrangement of a network, including its nodes and connecting lines. Topologies are either physical or logical. STAR TOPOLOGY

We recommend the star topology as it is very easy to manage because of its simplicity in functionality.

The problems can be easily located logically in a Star Topology and therefore is easy to troubleshoot also.

The Star Topology is very simple in format so it is very easy to expand on the Star Topology. In Star Topology Each System is connected individually to Inter Connecting Devices (HUB).So star topology is used for the fast, and Data transfer will be high.

Compared to the bus topology, a star network generally requires more cable, but a failure in any star network cable will only take down one computer's network access and not the entire LAN. (If the hub fails, however, the entire network also fails.)

4. CONTROLLING PROCESS
Project meetings
A project meeting is a regular event that involves everyone who shares, is concerned or interested in the project in communicating with other project participants by discussing issues, making proposals and approving or rejecting offers, for the purpose of generating group decisions that contribute to quicker project delivery, according to the planned project goals and expected results. For the intranet project we called many meetings and we documented meeting minutes properly.

Progress Report
Progress reporting is a key activity of project management. The project manager should issue reports to stakeholders regularly. Include these people on the circulation list:

[Project Management]
[Intranet Implementation]

73

5. CLOSING PROCESS
How projects get terminated
Project activities stop intentionally suddenly, usually without warning, typically for a cause not related to the projects purpose. It typically occurs due to a major, unexpected external event such as economic necessity, political violent, the development of new technology, industry combing in to a single unit, etc. and the internal reasons. Hire we consider internal reasons for terminating the project. Terminate by lack of planning Lack of planning shows up in mismanaged projects, which are terminated when it is discovered that the project managers have no idea of where they are or when theyll finish. Because of lack of planning WBS, Gannet chart, Resource usage report also contain poor details. So cannot allocate correct resources at the correct time. Changing requirements Some of terminations happen because of changing requirements of body from unrealistic project acceptance of scope changes without associate budget and schedule changes. This is still a behavior of many unskilled project managers. If suddenly changing the requirements of project without having any early informations these things also making project terminating Eg: changing the team member, physical resources and time schedule However, well managed projects in a climate of quick change may need termination when the continuing costs of purpose to change outweigh the benefits of having the capabilities. Terminating due to Lack of User Involvement This project termination source is almost equally break between projects that fail to communicate with users and users that fail to communicate with projects, if dont have better user involvement then its create a lots of problem such as project team cannot identify what is the requirement of end user. So projects will not traveling through the goal (scope) because sometimes team members dont know what is the real user requirement. So most of time project will get terminate. Terminating due to Lack Resources

74

Budget cuts, downsizing, and reprioritized projects are common. A project terminated for any of these reasons probably has relatively low potential business value, regardless of how well it is managed, although poor management is more likely to decrease a projects business value. Terminating due to less IT Management Skills Projects lacking range of management are by definition mismanaged projects. Because of lack of IT management they cannot define and allocate it resources efficiently and correctly such as hardware software combination and it peoples (web designer, database designer, programmer) Terminating due to Lack of Technology Illiteracy Technological illiteracy of performers or managers can cause to fail projects. These are usually mismanaged, shouldnt have started in the first place projects. Terminating due to Lack of Executive Support Most often, these are mismanaged projects whose managers made and failed to verify unrealistic assumptions about executive support. For example, project managers might have trust on executives reprioritizing other initiatives to support their projects needs. If executive support is get crash all other activities must get damaged because this is integrate each and every department get together and providing sponsoring activities as well. Terminating due to Lack of Incomplete Requirements Terminations from this source are more likely to come from mismanaged projects that mistake ahead without a clear idea of the operational stakeholders needs and priorities. In this situation they dont have a clear idea about requirements to complete the s project. But some terminations come from well managed projects when project managers recognize that the operational stakeholders are never going to agree on or commit to a clear requirements statement.

When to Terminate a ongoing Project

Inconsistency with organizational goals, Lack of focus (unclear objectives)

75

Loss of top management support (enthusiasm), lack of proper decision. Project scope inconsistent with organizational finances Change in external environment Lack of project experience (leadership shortcomings) Inadequate staffing, teams too large, teams too small Scope must fit objective and vice versa Personal problems (different agendas and objectives) Employee resistance to change and inflexibility established power structure new personal relationships changes,

Short term planning horizon Over reliance on tools

Steps to Take in Termination

Finalize all outstanding contracts to vendors, suppliers or customers including final payments (in some cases, according to federal regulations, project-related revenue that is earned on or before project termination is considered program income. If it is earned after project termination, it is an external sale.)

Transfer any responsibilities necessary Reassign the project team members to other duties Release all remaining resources such as materials Complete the final accounting on the project such as totally final costs, paying bills, etc so you can "close the book"

Document the results of the project and make recommendations for future projects (opportunity for learning and anticipating new risks)

Presentation of the system and approval (or rejection) of the system by the client according to acceptance criteria set forth in the Project Agreement

Installation and field testing as applicable

Terminating an Unfinished Project

Terminating a project that is already underway is often more complex than seeing it through to completion. It can happen for a number of reasons. Below mentioned are the main reasons why a project may needed to be terminated during the course. Incomplete requirements Terminations from this source are more likely to come from mismanaged projects that blunder ahead without a clear idea of the operational stakeholders needs and priorities. Lack of user involvement This project termination can occur due to the reason of projects that fail to communicate with users and users that fail to communicate with projects, no matter how hard the project managers try. In the latter case, it is generally good practice for the organization to terminate the project, because it is highly unlikely that its product will satisfy users. Lack of resources Budget cuts, downsizing, and reprioritized projects are common. A project terminated for any of these reasons probably has relatively low potential business value, regardless of how well it is managed, although poor management is more likely to decrease a projects business value. Lack of executive support This may occur when project managers might have relied on executives re-prioritizing other initiatives to support their projects needs. Some organizations can terminate well- managed projects when they replace an executive with someone who has different agendas and priorities. Changing requirements Most terminations can occur due to fact of changing requirements. This happens from unrealistic project acceptance of scope changes without accompanying budget and schedule changes. Wellmanaged projects in a climate of rapid change may need termination when the continuing costs of adapting to change outweigh the benefits of having the capabilities.

78

Lack of planning Lack of planning shows up in mismanaged projects, which are terminated when it is discovered that the project managers have no idea of where they are or when theyll finish. Absence of need In an era of rapid change, these terminations are equally likely to occur in well- and poorly managed projects. Good managers are more likely to track trends in needs, and recognize and terminate unneeded projects earlier.

79

Terminating / Closing Successful projects

All the projects having a ending date and time even though in some cases the work is needed to be carried on through another project. All the time we should follow some steps to process the terminations Ensure the project is complete. Ensure delivery and client acceptance. Prepare a final report. Ensure that all bills have been paid and that the final invoice has been sent to the client. Redistribute personnel, materials, equipment, and any other resources. Determine what records (manuals, reports, and other paperwork) are to be kept and place them in storage. Assign responsibility for product support, if necessary. Oversee the closing of the project's books.

Lesson learned Report

A Lesson Learned is knowledge or understanding gained by experience that has a significant impact for an organization. The experience may be either positive or negative. Successes are also sources of Lessons Learned. Lessons Learned Systems tend to be more organization-specific than Alert Systems. A Lesson Learned documents the experience gained during a project. These lessons come from working with or solving real-world problems. Collecting and disseminating lessons learned helps to eliminate the occurrence of the same problems in future projects. At the end of the project, gather all stakeholders for a Lessons-Learned meeting. Prepare a document to summarize the Lessons-Learned discussion. Focus on Lessons Learned that will help in future projects.

Leadership qualities for a Project Manager

Leadership is not about bullying people, it is about getting people to respect the authority with leadership skills and qualities. People should want to be lead by the team leader. Here is a list of some leadership qualities for a project manager or team leader. Good Communicator

Most would say communication is the most important skill of a leader. Without communication the team leader cannot lead the team. Communication not only allows for great leadership but also for openness and relativity. Communication is the most important quality of a leader. Skill and Knowledge

There needs to be some skill and knowledge that the leader needs to have. To put it simply, the leader should know what he is doing and should be able to guide the rest of the team. Problem Solving Skills

An efficient leader should be capable of solving any and all problems, either with the team or the project itself. Team Building Skills

The project manager should also be a team builder. He should be able to hold and pull the team together to work under different conditions. The team starts as a group of strangers and needs to be made into a core group of people. Motivate Himself

Leader should constantly motivate himself as it would help a true leader to synchronize with the present time. It will also prepare him to face new challenges. Honesty

89

[Project Management]

90

A leader should always be honest to himself as well as to his people. Everyone has a tremendous faith in our leaders; moreover it is a common saying that preaching is easier as compared to practicing. Visionary

A leader is a person who is a visionary. He should be able to see and understand the future so that it becomes an easy task to take decisions. Having high energy does not mean you play squash five times a week but that you have the intellectual energy and commitment to deliver the project with a positive we can do it team approach. Good project managers know their own strengths and weaknesses and will compensate for these in selecting the team. Team Skills They will appreciate the differing needs of both individuals and the project team at different stages of the project. They will be aware of different team types. Measure the project performance

Timing When measuring the performance of project (E commerce site) the timing is important part. The quickness is very important otherwise user will not get satisfied. Timing is a very important thing of project. When we consider the timing its a part of three dimensions in project. The E commerce development system is very fast in processing data and less time consuming to get relevant details. In our developed website when we want get something we typed and click on that at a time it will show the results. For this development we use database oracle because it has high performance such as store more data, retrieve data quickly and etc... High level of system use High level of system use that means system should be capable of handling highest work load, without any failure. This particular E commerce web site has more high performance because we use oracle database and high experienced database developers, To create a web page we use strong and latest languages with qualified programmers. And we use high speed quality hardwares such as computers, network accessories. If user occurs any problem the problem will solved soon as possible. Because, we include help facilities as well. User satisfaction User satisfaction is very impotent to a system which is in an organization, without user satisfaction the system will not give a good confidence to the user (sponsor) and without user satisfaction user will not like to work with the system. In our project we develop a graphical and user friendly website interface by using latest technologies. And whatever the outcome expected by the user (sponsor) those are done our team very accurately. Project manager will check whether the all outcome of project are covered or not. And quality assurance manager also help to that part.

91

[Project Management]
[Intranet Implementation] Achieved goal

92

Achieve the goal is a most important part of our project because if we not done this well our entire project will get crashed. And its make lots of problem. The goal of a project is to satisfy the customer(sponsor), for that the website have separate functions to handle the customer and customers information, and other objective of the project is quality of the product, by increasing the quality of the user interface the Organization can achieve good profit (because user will become like to use the website). This is a multinational company so we connect the people and the organization by using this E-Commerce site. Any king of user can identify this website (because its user friendly) in worldwide. That is the main idea of the website. Completeness The E-Commerce site covers the all work totally regarding cosmetics (pvt) ltd multinational company. And this project will fulfill the all requirements of user (sponsor) & the organization expectation. This E-Commerce site include all relevant informations which is needed by user such as understand about company, information about product, some medical advice regarding skin allergy, future carrier, they new products to the market, they branches, how to buy a product, hoe to make payments and user can give some suggestions to the company. Relevant The particular website has to assume to be relevant to the needs of the organizations. The website informations are relevant to the organization. The website has to be validated. The E-Commerce site has to include all relevant informations regarding the company; there product, services and these are I explain in completeness part also. And user dont get any confusion about company activities, product. Accuracy Information must be sufficiently accurate for it to be relying upon and for the develop for which it was intended. Therefore the information provided to the management should take an accurate decision and action. And before implementing the web site analyzing the all the part of project and website and the quality assurance managers are checking if the particular website is fulfill
92

[Project Management]
[Intranet Implementation]

93

with the all qualities. And before implement a website the project manager will checked if all the outcomes are covered or not. Confidence The output generated should be reliable and accurate. The type of website the company uses should have an appropriate type. Subsequently by this it is easier to get an idea whether the website is reasonable. As for information to have value it must be used; for it to be used the user must have confidence in the source. The E-Commerce site providing accurate and relevant reports and information would build confidence for the user, as he may believe the system is operating to his requirements.

Future Recommendation

Using password system to the system If the company management prefers to use the Intranet system only a authorized person they can set the password. So it would be more secure to the system and it would bring more privacy to the company process.

Converting the intranet to internet to view the system all around the world:

We can convert the intranet into internet by implementing internet further. So company or organization staff or authorized persons can view the necessary information when they are all around the world by making an online system. 1. Online service: We can create user id and password and connect this security system into online. So that owner or authorized persons can view the necessary information where ever he/she is in the world. 2. Mobile services: We can connect this intranet system is into mobile services. So anyone can easily can login to the system and view the necessary information.

CONCLUSION
The objective of this assignment was to have experience to manage project, while we dealing with this assignment we could have good experience about how to manage projects. Our main intention was to design the Intranet system from the organization which is more suitable for the organizations requirements, under the organization feasibility. The first thing we did is identifying all the problems that the organization is having and listing down them to make the solutions. Identifying user requirements was not an easy task. Each of employees has different kinds of problems and requirements. So it was a difficult task to full fill all the employees problems and requirements. So we selected the main requirements and according to that we design the system. We faced many problems while we were dealing with this project. Even though we managed that task very easily by discussing as a team, and found the best solutions. When we were doing this assignment we could clearly understand managing project is not an easy job, because we had work with different kind of people and had to listen their ideas and opinion also, apart from that when we take a decision we had to discuss with all members and ask their opinion about the decision, as team each members had different I ideas, so it was bit difficult to take some decision. We had great experience by visiting and analyzing the Abans organization, the organizations process and their information system. During this assignment, we expect a chance to sharpen our skills on technical, analysis or interpersonal skills. This assignment is finished according to Project development life cycle approach and through this approach we were able to learn more on practically how to work in a project whether individually or in a group.
