Hi Khia, Thanks a lot for taking the time to answer these questions.

I am planning to run for next years Executive Board and getting these information will not only give me a better idea of what the ViPER role is about, but also, if I get the position, to do a better job in the role. So far, the only information I have about ViPER is this:

Vice-President External Relations - In charge of all revenue streams outside of exchange functions; e.g. sponsorship - Approaching potential sponsors over summer holidays - Improving brand awareness and University relations - Approaching potential external speakers - In charge of all social media and website development - Create an Alumni database

1. Can you tell me the main steps involved to gain sponsorship? Also, apart from companies, are there other sources of sponsorships? What are the usual problems you face in the process and how did you overcome them? 2. Could you tell me what have you done for your AIESEC branch to improve its brand awareness and University relations? 3. Are these external speakers only for the branchs events? How did you find them and persuade them to give a talk? 4. What types of social media have you worked with? What do you think is the most effective? 5. I only have basic knowledge with web design (HTML, Microsoft FrontPage, Photoshop, and Adobe Dreamweaver). Is a high level of knowledge and skill in web design mandatory for the position? What kind of web developments have you done as the ViPER? 6. How do you find it having to balance the tasks of this role with academics and other aspects of your university life? 7. If you dont mind telling me, what previous positions/experiences have you placed in the application form for the ViPER? Thats all. Thanks again. See you in future AIESEC events! Cheers, Dominic
