History
Vodafone started as Racal Vodafone in 1982 It was renamed Racal Telecom in September 1988 In September 1991 demerged from Racal Electronics PLC. On 29th june 1999,vodafone complete acquisition of Airtouch communication.

On 28th july ,2000 it reverted it to its former name, Vodafone Group PLC
