Celebrating Black History Month!

Dear Jason, HAPPY BLACK HISTORY MONTH! You are one of our favorite friends because you are very kind. We are celebrating it in honor of the people that came before us. I selected this poem because it is very nice and related to an African American. The poem made me feel great!

Winter Twilight A silence slipping around like death, Yet chased by a whisper, a sigh, Breath; One group of trees, lean, Naked and cold, Inking their cress 'against a Sky green-gold; One path that knows where the corn flowers were; Lonely, apart, unyielding, one fir; And over it softly leaning down, One star that I loved ere the fields went brown Angelina W.
