1.

Heteretrophs Organism that obtain their food by consuming organic compound to obtain carbon source (cannot produce their own food)

2. Obligate intracellular parasites Organism that needs a host to reproduce and growth. They cannot replicate outside of a host cell

3. Passive diffusion Movement of molecules from higher concentration region to lower concentration region. Does not require any energy

4. Active transport Movement of a substance across a cell membrane against its concentration gradient (from low to high concentration)

5. Binary diffusion A type of asexual reproduction. Where a cell divides to two cells, each having the potential to grow to the size of the original cell.

6. Desiccator Closed container that have drying agent at the lower chamber to remove moisture. The desiccant will change colour from blue (indicate dry) to pink (indicate pink). As moisture is drawn out of the air the blue silica will turn pink, simply toss it in an appropriate container and place in the oven or microwave until it turns blue again.
