Purpose
Packet Tracer 5.1 is a medium-fidelity, simulation-based networking technology learning environment, that provides users with the ability to design, configure, and troubleshoot computer networks at a CCNA-level of complexity. These notes provide detailed information about this release, including content, known issues, and support information.
Release Content
Component Packet Tracer 5.1 program Description Simulation-based networking technology application. Version 5.1 is compatible with all CCNA Discovery and CCNA Exploration courses and all version 4.x Packet Tracer activities. HTML-based help files embedded in the application 13 main topics with 62 Flash-based training tutorials, may be launched from the application or used stand-alone 18 reference topologies to help new users start learning or creating activities
