Man on the run nabbed SHAH ALAM, Selangor - A man who had been on the run for more than a week was nabbed at a house in Section 9, here, on Monday evening. The 36-year-old suspect was on the wanted list since Aug 18 when he gave police the slip when he was stopped for reckless driving along Jalan Subang on Aug 18. Selangor Criminal Investigation Department chief Senior Assistant Commissioner Adnan Abdullah said the suspect was reluctant to hand over his identification documents when the policemen asked for them. He suddenly tried to pull out an object from his sling bag. The police grabbed the sling bag but the suspect managed to drive away, Adnan said. There was a semi-automatic pistol with seven bullets in the bag. Police later found the suspects car, which had crashed near Stadium Malawati in Seksyen 13. On checking the vehicle, police found 107 grammes of drugs in small packets. The car was later tracked down to the suspects wife. In another case, police found the decomposed body of a man in Sungai Klang at North Port, Port Klang, on Friday. Adnan said based on the injuries, police believed that the suspect was murdered before his body was dumped in the river. He urged those with missing relatives to identify the remains at the Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah in Klang.
