GROUP: - CIVILIZATION Home Hunters! Our own video-taped “House Hunters” adventure! SCENARIO: One or two friends are looking fo buy property in Mesopotamia, They are talking to a Real Estate Agent who is trying to sell them the property, They have a representative who is working for them who does not like Mesopotamia. Similar to the man and woman in House Hunters, the buyers need fo discuss the pros and cons to decide if they are going to buy land in Mesopotamia or look elsewhere, eee ROLES Real Estate Agent (Sales): Buyer #1 Real Estate Representative: Buyer #2: RESPONSIBILITIES in the skit: Real Estate Agent: Your job is to make as good of case as you can fo sell Mesopotamia. This should include AT LEAST 4 facts or pieces of information. Real Estate Representative: You need to argue for your clients NOT fo move fo Mesopotamia by pointing out its flaws. This should include AT LEAST 4 facts or pieces of information. Buyers: You need to think about the bad things and the good things, summarizing the position of both the Agent and your Representative. Just like in the YouTube clip, consider these points to make a decision. RESPONSIBILITIES as & group: Develop skit using all of the above pieces Each person must use 5 of the 3 advisory vocabulary words in your skit. Decide: Perform skit with or without video camera. (Circle one] Choose at least 3 pictures from the textbook or the internet that you would lke to use for background. ~ Alternate Option: (For groups of 1 or 2) Make a comic book showing the above scene with all the same pieces. We must believe that you are taking this seriously and that you will listen to each realtor carefully.) (4 points) Summary (After both realtors have presented their sides, you will need to summarize the pros and cons of each side.
