TO THE STUDENT TEACHER: Good morning Ms. Kevan! I cant believe this is my last visit during your student teaching at CICS. The time has flown by and I am so proud to have been your first and last mentor I really enjoyed how you began the lesson this morning. You were honest with the students and told them that they were excellent writers and that they impressed you. During your lesson many hands were raised. This should make you feel good. You are keeping these students engaged and interested. I like the way you call students to the board. They love being able to play the teacher role. The students came up with an amazing list of why we revise/edit. I was impressed. I love that you had humor and even asked the kids how to spell onomatopoeia! It has been a pleasure working with you this quarter. You are such a natural in the classroom. I wish you all the best of luck on your move and job hunt. Please keep in touch.

TO THE CLASSROOM SUPERVISING TEACHER Hello Ms. Haney! Thank you for being a wonderful mentor teacher to Ms. Kevan this quarter. I know that she has learned a lot from you. Your class welcomed her openly and accepted her as their teacher. I hope we can work together again in the future. Enjoy the rest of the school year and have a fantastic summer.
