    The serial direct method of communication to Siemens Simatic S5 - 90U, 95U, 100U, 102U, 115U, 135U and 155U PLCs, uses the SIDIRECT driver. Using this method you can connect to single or multiple PLCs, directly through the programming ports, as in the following diagram:

    You can acquire a programming cable from your Simatic S5 distributor. This protocol does not support the following CPUs: CPU945 for the S5-115 range CPU928, CPU946, CPU947, and CPU948 for the S5-135/155 range
