SAIPEM Response:

Please find attached in Appendix A, the clamp calculation to evaluate the feasibility of PTSCs proposed clamp size as shown in Figure 1. The conclusions are as follows: 1. For all the 4 piping supports (Identification number : P3-XX) , the proposed clamp dimension is acceptable except that the bolt lengths shall be revised to 90mm. 2. For all the 8 piping supports (Identification number : P4-XX), the proposed clamp dimension is acceptable except that the bolt size shall be revised to 25mm and the bolt lengths shall be revised to 110mm. 3. Note that the Figure 1 and the revision required above does not include/apply to piping supports for the 2 piping (P3-03, P3-10, P4-09) which have support lengths of 100mm and 75mm. Refer to Figure 2 for a sketch of the dimensions of the proposed clamp for the 2 piping. This can replace both the 100mm and 75mm welded supports. Just to highlight, the 100mm welded support grips on a 4 piping (refer to snapshot below of P3-03/P310). Please adjust the dimensions accordingly to suit the 4 piping but the design concept of the clamps is the same as Figure 2.

Snapshot of P3-03/P3-10 Further, note that for all the clamps (2, 4, 8 and 10) please ensure that the clamps grip adequately on the piping as the bolts are torqued as these are designed to be friction clamps (especially the anchor clamps). This can be achieved by (to prevent loose fitting of the clamps): 1. Fabricate the clamps with sufficient gap (min 10mm) between the flange plates as shown in Figure 2. 2. If the clamps are already fabricated to dimensions without the gap, increase the thickness of the neoprene to introduce the gap.
