In literature, ship and sea are often associated with life and death. The ship represents life. For me, the life pertained here is the journey of a person like the ship that sails on the sea. That even if there are uncertainties or tragedies occur, life must go on. The ship has several routes towards its destination just as life has its options. Even if you chose a route or an option, it can always alter due to some bumps or icebergs. During the voyage, there can be stopovers; you can meet some friend, or foe or even some pirates along the way. On the other hand, sea is death because not everyone has experienced death as no one has explored the entire ocean. Many people are afraid to travel in the ocean like there are many people are afraid to die. People dont know how deep the ocean could go just as people dont know when to die. Like the sea, there is also beauty in death; people became at peace just like the ocean after a storm.
