Mother to son by This poem contains the figure of a speech that a Methaphor figure of speech in which an implied comparison is made between two unlike things that actually have something in common. It contains like : Life for me ain't been no crystal stair. It's had tacks in it, And splinters, And boards torn up And others text And the meaning of text is A mother sent letter to her son.And she told about her pray and expentancy that her son can do his work well.She told that the life is very difficult and barricade fully.and she can know how her sons life.she ask her son not to turn back and not set down by the steps.because she still going and always give support to her son to go struggle. And life for her aint been no crystal stair.that is her hoping for the son. And also this poetry used nice language and hard words. But it is interesting. 2. Surat dari Ibu by Asrul Sani This poem contains the figure of a speech that Personification is a figure of speech in which human characteristics are attributed to an abstract quality, animal, or inanimate object. It contains words, like : Selama angin masih angin buritan dan matahari pagi menyinar daun-daunan dalam rimba dan padang hijau And others text And the meaning of text is A letter from a mother to her son so far of her.A mother missed her son to back home.The letter contains that if the son life successfully in there and dark skies before.And they will tell about their life at the morning in home town. This poetry just only a hope from mother to her son and not fact.
