    Description:

    The WORKSTEAD Desk is modeled on a set of protoype desks in the WORKSTEAD Storefront in Red Hook, Brooklyn. The desk is both a monolith and a thin plane, combining a sense of utility with the texture and depth of American walnut. Each desk can be tailored to custom dimensions at no extra cost. It consists of a walnut file cabinet with mulitiple drawers. The file cabinet accomodates both letter and legal size file folders beneath the solid walnut top. Standard configuration : 28H x 48L x 24W, custom maximum is 62 L Workstead is a New-York based collaborative between Stefanie Brechbuehler and Robert Highsmith that offers architectural services, graphic design, furniture, and lighting.
