Transportasi didalam kota Amsterdam cukup banyak pilihan, metro line, tram dan bus. Umumnya kalo didalam kota mempergunakan tram untuk kelilingnya, dan hampir semuanya masuk ke central station. Must visit or try didalam kota : - Damrak dan inner city (Red light, bloumenmarkt, Kalverstraat), o menikmati kota tua Amsterdam dengan lorong-lorong jalannya, ya hampir sama kaya toulouse tua sih, cuma Amsterdam dibangun dengan uang dari tanah air kita. Di deket Red light ada satu gedung, dimana VOC dulu berkantor. - Madame Tussaud (http://www.madametussauds.com/Amsterdam/en) o Harga tiket 17.5 euro. Rasanya sih sama kaya museum lilin lainnya, cuma mungkin orang-orangnya ada yang khusus ada di Belanda aja. - Canal cruise ( 1 jam : 13 euro) - Amsterdam Arena (ajax home base, tiket : 12 euro) - Rijk museum (http://www.rijksmuseum.nl/) o Ddidepannya ada lapangan museumplein yang ada tulisan IAMSTERDAM, tapi under renovation until 2013. Disekitar rijkmuseum terdapat Concertgebouw, dan Van Gogh museum. - Van Gogh Museum (http://www.vangoghmuseum.nl) - Leidsplein (tempat nongkrong) Must visit diluar kota : 1. Volendam (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Volendam), Sekitar 30 menit dari central station, bisa dijangkau dengan bis Arriva (9 euro), hop on hof off all day. Jadi bisa sampe ke Edam, Monnickendam. o Disini biasanya foto2 pake baju tradisional belanda. o Naik bus dari Amsterdam Central Station (North side) 2. Zaanse Schans (http://www.zaanseschans.nl/) With its traditional green painted houses, warehouses and windmills the Zaanse Schans gives the feeling of having stepped back into the seventeenth or eighteenth centuries. However this is not an open air museum but a colourful living and working neighbourhood. Most of the buildings were re-located from other areas in the Zaanstreek in the 1960s and 70s as owing to urban development they were under threat of obliteration. The Zaanse Schans offers a magnificent view of the surrounding landscape as it was before and after the industrial revolution. This panorama makes the Zaanse Schans a vital link in the European Route of Industrial Heritage. How to get there : By train

Only four stops (20 minutes) by train from Amsterdam Central Station. Take the stop train direction Alkmaar to Koog-Zaandijk. From the station simply follow the signs to the Zaanse Schans. It is ten minute walk from the station. By bus From Amsterdam There is an excellent bus service operating from Amsterdam Central Station direct to the Zaanse Schans. Bus 91 leaves Amsterdam Central Station twice hourly and stops at the St. Michael College next to the Zaans Museum and Zaanse Schans. 3. Keukenhof (http://www.keukenhof.nl/) In 2012 the most beautiful spring garden in the world will be open from March 22th up until may 20th, including all Sundays and public holidays. Keukenhof is open from 8.00 a.m. to 19.30 p.m. daily (ticket office closes at 18.00 p.m.). Tip: come early in the morning or late in the afternoon, then it's also more quiet in our park!

From Leiden Central Station The bus 54 runs on Monday till Friday 4 times an hour and in weekends even 8 times an hour and leaves Leiden Central Station (city-centre side) from platform 1 at the bus station. The journey to Keukenhof takes 25 minutes. The last bus back to Leiden Central Station leaves at 19.51. Dikota ini terdapat Tweede Kamer (parlement belanda) International Court Justice, dan badan atom dunia.

Kota Rotterdam

Kota ini cukup hancur akibat perang dunia ke II, sehingga merupakan kota dengan bangunan modern paling banyak di Negara Belanda. Rotterdam juga merupakan kota pelabuhan, dimana port nya merupakan salah satu port tersibuk di dunia. Disini juga ada flood barrier terbesar, yang melindungi delta sungai Rhein dari air laut. Kinkerdijk (http://kinderdijk.com/) Kanal dengan susunan windmill ditepi nya. How to get there : take the train to either Rotterdam Centraal or Utrecht Centraal. In Rotterdam, take the subway to Rotterdam-Zuid and take the bus. From Utrecht Centraal you can hop on a bus right at the station. (address : Nederwaard 1, Kinderdijk) Kereta di Netherland (www.ns.nl) Kereta di belanda dikelola NS dan biaya dihitung berdasarkan jarak, dan tidak ada nomer tempat duduk didalam kereta. Hanya ada kelas 1 dan 2, bedanya cuma ukuran bangku nya aja. Dan untuk foreigner kenanya full price. Discount buat yang punya abonement nya. Tiket juga gampang beli di vending machine, sama kaya SNCF. Public Transportation (www.ov-chipkaart.nl) Transportasi di Belanda sekarang menggunakan OV-chipkaart yang berlaku secara nasional (dulu pakai strippenkaart). Kartu ini bisa dibeli disetiap kantor transportasi publik (GVB, HTM dll). Harga kartu nya sendiri 7,5 euro. Biaya satuan travel di kota Amsterdam 2,6 euro untuk satu jam. Dalam penggunaan nya, biasanya di validasi pada saat naik dan validasi lagi pada saat turun. Saat validasi di potong 4 euro, jadi kalo lupa validasi ulang padahal cuma jalan 1 jam, bisa rugi. Satuan biaya tiap kota bisa beda-beda. Untuk traveling dengan public transport biasanya bisa dibantu dengan website http://www.9292.nl/en/ Amsterdam (GVB, www.gvb.nl) Untuk turis rasanya lebih bagus dengan OV-day pass ticket. Dan tiket valid untuk semua mode transportasi didalam kota Amsterdam (bus, tram, metro) dan dibawah GVB (belanda ada Connexxion dan Arriva yang biasanya menghubungkan kota). Tiket GVB dijual di kantor nya, didepan central station. Day ticket pass : 1 day : 7 euro 2 day : 11.5 euro 3 day : 15.5 euro 4 day : 19.5 euro

Penginapan (Hostel)

Berhubung belum pernah tinggal di hostel selama di Amsterdam, maka pemilihan hostel hanya berdasarkan bantuan web dibawah, dan pemilihan dengan melihat customer rating nya, belum melihat harga per malam nya. Untuk pilihan sih better pilih hostel yang agak keluar dari lingkaran dalam kota. Daerah museumplein udah cukup tenang, kalo tengah kota agak berisik, biasa anak muda nya pada dugem, ke ganggu kalo pengen tidur jadinya. Mending kalo mau dugem ya dugem, pas balik ke hostel yang tenang, jadi langsung tidur..hehehe beberapa pilihan hostel antara lain:
