    There are three main methods for solving systems of equations: 1) Graphing - Lines with different slopes will intersect at one point, same slopes may have no solution, one solution, or infinite solutions depending on their equations. 2) Substitution - Isolate a variable in one equation, substitute it into the other, then solve the resulting single equation and plug back to find the second variable, leading to one solution or no solution. 3) Elimination - Choose a variable and multiply equations as needed to eliminate it, then solve the remaining single equation and plug back to find the other variable, with possible outcomes of one solution, no solution, or infinite solutions.
