Common side effects

A recombinant insulin analog that is mor rapidly absorbed than human insulin, with a more rapid onset and shorter duration than regular human insulin. Provides better blood glucose control than regular human insulin when given beofre a meal

Systemic allergic reactions, history of allergic reactions to insulin, hypoglycemia. Fever, hyperthyroidism, rurgery or trauma, decreased insulin requirments due to diarrhea, nausea, or vomiting, malabsorptions, rela or hepatic impairment, hypokalemia, pregnancy category C, lactation, oral Treatment of antidiabetic agents, ace diabetes mellitus inhibitors, disopyramide, fluoxetine, mao inhibitors, propoxyphene, salicylates, sulfonamide antibotics, niacin, danazol, diuretics, sympathomimetic agents, phenothiazines, thyroid hormones, estrogens, progestogens, isoniazid, somatorpin, beta-blockers, clonidine, lithium, alcohol, pentamidine, garlic, ginseng

Allergic reactions, hypoglycemia, hypokalemia, injection site reaction, lipodystrophy, pruritus, rash

Eat immediately after injection insulin aspart, do not inject into areas with redness, swelling, itching or dimpling, Ingest some form of sugar if symptoms of hypoglycemia deveolp and seek medical assistance, check blood sugar as prescribed especially postprandial values, notify prescriber of any of the following : fever, infection, trauma, diarrhea, nausea or vomiting, do not take any other medications unless approved by prescriber
