Task 1 (Advanced students)

You are required to perform a conversation based on your own situation (pair work). As student (A), you have to compliment your friend while As student (B), you have to respond appropriately to the compliment (reverse your roles)

Task 2 (Intermediate students)

Choose any of the situations below. Compliment and respond to your pair appropriately. (reverse your roles) 1. Birthday party (food, dress etc) 2. Your best friend gets flying colors result in the final exam. 3. Your brother has just bought a new sport car. 4. Your mother bakes a delicious chocolate cake. 5. Your classmate won the first prize in the drawing competition. 6. Your father just bought a new phone. 7. Your cousin composes a beautiful poem.

Task 3 (Weak students)

Situation 1 What would you say if your friend scores 8As in his / her final exam; Suggested answer: congratulation Situation 2 What would you say if your friend compliment you on scoring 8As in your final. Suggested answer: thank you
