LIZARD

This extremely easy knit is a quick project with great end results! Please note that the end product or pattern may not be sold without explicit permission from Cassidy Clark. Materials= Yarn for the body and legs of the lizard Embroidery thread for eyes Tapestry needle Double point needles that accommodate yarn for a tight gauge Polyfill stuffing

12. *SSK, K6, K2TOG* twice. <16 sts> 13. *SSK, K4, K2TOG* twice. <12 sts> At the end of row 13, stuff head with stuffing and continue working. 14. Knit. 15. *KFB, K4, KFB* twice. <16 sts> 16. Knit. 17. *KFB, K6, KFB* twice. <20 sts> Rows 18.-28.-- Knit. 29. *SSK, K6, K2TOG* twice. <16 sts> 30. Knit. 31. *SSK, K4, K2TOG* twice. <12 sts> At the end of row 31, stuff body with stuffing and continue working. 32. *K2TOG, K1*four times. <8 sts> Rows 33.-44.--Knit. 45. K2TOG, K to end. <7 sts> 46. Knit. 47. Knit. Repeat rows 45-47 until 5 sts remain. 48. K1, K2TOG, K2TOG. <3 sts> 49. Knit. Cut yarn and thread through remaining stitches. Pull tight, then hide yarn end somewhere in body. Legs (make 4) CO 6, and either distribute between 3 dpns, or work in I-cord. Work for 6 rows. Cut yarn and pull through stitches. Hide yarn end somewhere in body. Sew CO edge to body. To finish lizard, embroider eyes onto head where desired. Enjoy!

Required Skills KFB K2TOG SSK Knitting in the round I-cord (optional)

Head, Body, and Tail CO 6 and distribute onto 3 dpns. Continue working in the round, as follows1. KFB all sts. <12 sts> 2. *K(5), KFB* twice <14 sts> Repeat Row 2, increasing the number in the parenthesis by one each time until you have 24 sts. 8. Knit. 9. Knit. 10. K until 2 from end, K2TOG. <23 sts> 11. SSK, K8, K2TOG, SSK, K9. <20 sts>
