HOW THE WAR STARTED

World War I ended in 1918 Germany was forced to give up land and banned from having a military army. Everyone voted for Adolf Hitler to lead the Germans and he started an army.

At almost 5am on September 1st, 1939 Hitler led the Germans to Poland and bombed near the Polish frontier.

WHY THE WAR

STARTED

The second war started by an unprovoked attack on Poland.

Britain and France declared war on Germany because Hitler refused to abort his invasion on Poland.
The British helped Poland during the war.

WHEN THE WAR STARTED

World war two began September 3rd 1939.

The prime minister of Britian, Neville Chamberlain declared war on Germany. It involved many of the worlds countries.
