Collaborative Project

Vision: LISSA will recruit students in the GSLIS program who are interested in becoming involved in the community or in holding a leadership position after graduation, take on-campus classes or do not yet have a position in the library. We will recruit so that LISSA will have a full board to serve students in the fall of 2012. Katie will lead the recruitment initiative, research and share new ideas and serve as the contact person for all interested students and other board members. Board members will help send out e-mails, distribute flyers, arrange displays and advertise the upcoming LISSA elections in their classes. By recruiting new members LISSA will continue to provide library related events to students and maintain its mission of enhancing students educational experiences. The July LISSA Board Meeting will serve as a recruitment meeting, candidate statements will be due July 20 and elections will take place the last week of July. Plan of Action: 1. Preparation: a.
