    This document describes a class of marine organisms called concentricycloidea discovered in 1986. They have flat, disc-shaped bodies less than 1cm in diameter with five-fold symmetry. They have a water vascular system and tube feet around the edge of their disks to absorb nutrients through their membranes, and have no obvious arms or mouths. Only two species are known from wood found off New Zealand and the Bahamas.
