When it comes to Cinematography the movie was superb. Why? It is because First, in the movie the camera angles and camera movement are useful in heightening the desired screen quality and the viewers can easily seen the message on what the actor and actresses in their role want to portrayed, and also because of the camera angles and movement the emotion and idea of the movie are easily captured by the viewers and the setting of the movie are easily pictured out. In addition the actions and on how the actors and actresses move is very truthful in the eyes of the viewers. They also carefully used this in order to give more of the quality of the movie. Second, The shots are artistically focused because the movie was very cleared on what the director want to show and the scene was seen truly. In addition the movie was being portrayed clear and the viewers would really believed that it was really as it was before from the setting, actors and actresses and also the time. Third, the movie is in black and white because the setting was in the late 1861 and through this the viewers believed that the scene was captured in the late Spanish era and it gives more emphasis on the old times. Fourth, the photography in the movie help the story because of these the movie made it a point to be historically accurate with the events surrounding that have both happened in Rizal's life and the history of the Philippines as well. It also made it a point to completely capture Rizal's execution taken on December 30, 1896 with the presence of the dog based on the photograph taken that day. In addition the picture on the movie was clear, the setting like mountains or hills, the farms and the surrounding are also clear. And lastly, the lighting in the movie was totally used to convey the feelings and emotions of the character because in making this movie or any movie, lighting is one of the very important components to be considered because it helps the movie to give an emphasis on what the character wants to show.
