Dr. Irene K. Silberstein is joined Dr.

Rolandellis practice of general and colorectal surgery after having completed General Surgery Residency Training at Morristown Memorial Hospital on June of 2010. Dr. Silberstein was born in Philadelphia where she received her education. She did her undergraduate studies at the University of Pennsylvania College of Arts and Sciences. She continued her studies at the Thomas Jefferson University from where she received her medical degree. She was recruited to Morristown Memorial Hospital in 2005 to receive her surgical training. During residency she has distinguished herself for vast medical knowledge and great skills set. She is a great clinician with excellent diagnostic skills and warm rapport with patients. Her surgical skills are outstanding, be it through minimally invasive or open approaches. By the end of her residency Dr. Silberstein developed an interest in gastrointestinal disorders. She plans on practicing the full gamut of general surgery with a particular emphasis in gastrointestinal surgery.
