Nelson November 16th, 2012 The Hillary Clinton Report Hillary Rodham Clinton is an exemplary inspiration to aspiring female politicians, business women and world leaders. Hillary's life has been full of political, humanitarian and feminist engagements. Born in the year 1947 to Hugh Ellsworth Rodham and Dorothy Emma Howell, Hillary exhibited numerous signs of future success as a child growing up in the Chicagoan suburbs, such as involvement in school government and electoral campaigns as a teen (which due to her then Conservative influence included work for the Republican candidate Goldwater's campaign.) This came as no surprise seeing as she was raised in a politically Conservative household. Having met Martin Luther King Jr. in 1963, two years prior to his death, and feeling disgust towards the effects of the Vietnam war, Rodham began to harbour more liberal ideologies, especially regarding race.

Accomplishments
Hillary majored in political science at Wellesley College, where she gained a Bachelor of Arts and departmental honours in political science upon her graduation in 1969. Through the endless encouragement of her classmates, Hillary was the first student to give a commencement speech at her own graduation. Graduating from Yale Law School, Hillary was they equipped to move into years of experience as a lawyer, often giving pro-bono legal advice to the poor.
