1.G.O.Rt.No.253, G.A(Coordn & GPM&AR) Dept., dt.12.01.2007. 2. Minutes of the HLC meeting, dt.26.11.2012. - - ORDER: In the G.O read above, orders were issued nominating all the District Collectors as Coordinating Officers and DROs as Nodal Officers for effective and timely implementation of the RTI Act, 2005. 2. In the High Level Committee meeting held on 26.11.2012, a decision was taken that all the District Collectors be requested to include, in the District Level Committee, representatives of two RTI Activists on rotation basis for a period of one year, as in the case of High Level Committee members constituted in G.O.Ms.No.498/RTIA/GPM&AR, dt.24.09.2012. Such representation would provide an opportunity to both Collector and DRO, to get a comprehensive view on RTI implementation in the district. 3. Government, have accordingly, decided that all District Collectors shall nominate two RTI Activists, to the District Level Coordination Committee, on rotation basis for a period of one year. 4. The District Collectors shall take necessary action and shall meet atleast once in a quarter or as frequently as necessary, and send copy of the minutes of the District Level Coordination Committee to G.A(GPM&AR)Department.
