if site goes on default ip then need to configure the hyper terminal as given below procedure and follow the

commands which is discussed after configuring the hyperterminal

Start HyperTerminal as follows: >Click the Start button, then point to Programs, Accessories,Communications, and then click HyperTerminal. The HyperTerminal window opens. Note: The first time you start HyperTerminal, you will be prompted for country and area code. You do not have to fill in these boxes. To avoid problems with the default value for the area code, clear the Use country code and area code box at the bottom of the dialog box, then click OK. You will not encounter this window again.

The Connection Description dialog box opens,

2. In the Name box, enter a name for the connection, see Figure . Example: RS232 Note: For the rest of the procedure, the name for the HyperTerminal connection will be RS232. 3. In the Icon box, select an icon for the connection. 4. Click OK. The Connect To dialog box opens, see Figure .

5. From the Connect using list, select Direct to Com1, see Figure. 6. Click OK. The COM1 Properties dialog box opens. 7. Set the port settings according to Figure.

8. Click OK. The RS232 HyperTerminal window opens. 9. Press Enter. The $ prompt appears in the RS232 HyperTerminal window, see Figure , indicating that the serial connection is established.

Command Run on hyper terminal

1.In above Hyperterminal window first check the Current IP of the site through ifconfig command.
2. If IP is correct then check the cv is latest or not on which site is running through CV CU command. 3. If site CV is latest then ok otherwise follow the given below step Through CV LS command list all the CV configure in NodeB. Copy the latest CV and type command CV SET LATEST_CV_NAME then reload the site through reload command . 4. Also check the clock of the site though readclock if time is ok otherwise set the clock through setclock yyyy-mm-dd hh:mm:ss command. 5. If all above discussed points are configured ok then login the NodeB through element manager.
