    Instructor: Guang Yang Oce: Hill Center 557 Oce hours: Thursday 3:30-5:30PM Email: gyang at stat.rutgers.edu Course Website: http://www.stat.rutgers.edu/home/gyang/stat390/index.html Course Design and Evaluation Each class will start with a lecture, followed by time for programming exercises, during which you could practice the examples and/or do exercises. A Pass/Fail grade is given based on 4 homework assignments (Exercise 1-4) and a nal project. All homework assignments are ocially due at the beginning of the next class. Final project is due two weeks after the last meet. No late assignments and nal projects will be accepted! Textbooks: Elliott, R. J. (1999).
