BONE MICROSCOPE SLIDES WORKSHEET First, read the on-line description on the Bone Biology for Kids website.

http://depts.washington.edu/bonebio Click on the image of the microscope, then select Under the Microscope 1. You will have a slide set that contains 5 slides (labelled A-E). Figure out which slide matches the following cases: ______ Normal. ______ A patient with osteoporosis. ______ A patient with rickets. ______ A patient with kidney failure. ______ The special stain of the patient with kidney failure that shows the osteoclasts as red spots.
