This year she decided to start teaching about her findings in niche marketing,
and help others to be their own masters.
From my personal relationship with her, I can add an insider detail… I handle
the tech side of the business, but I have to exercise by contract every day
because according to her, exercise is the different between a Goddess and a
bitch, and she can’t afford me “getting bitchy”. Have to admit… it works.
She is like that… wild, clever, original, and has a particular gift to get to the heart
of things.
To learn more about her, you can follow her in Twitter or visit her website.
What to expect visiting her website: So far the outside of the site is
just a blog. General comments, news, her personal view of the business, and
things that call her attention… Plus articles by other people, especially The Lady,
the writer of the team…
The inside of the site is a different story; there is where the real stuff takes
place. It will be populated as time goes by. For now it is completely free (and
almost empty…); she will probably wait to have enough material up to put a
price tag to the door. If you have an interest or are just curious, this would be
the time to join. Hint, hint ;).

Introduction
The Twitter background is a fixed image; i.e. if you scroll it doesn’t move.
You need to create an image of large enough size to cover the fixed background.
Also it is helpful to consider that the most widely used resolution for 15”
monitors is 1280 x 800, and Twitter sets the body in the middle. You will not be
able to make everybody happy… but if you set your background for that
resolution, you will be able to make your message get through for the most
visitors.
To help the page load faster for RDG, instead of a giant image, I used a
relatively *light* (I mean… of small size) image that fades to black and setup the
background color in black. You will make your own choices to suit your own
needs.
Image size and dimensions are related, but there are other variables involved:
the format, quality and resolution are the main ones.
Note: A 600 wide image will not cover the whole background. If you don’t use
an image that fades to a background color, use 1280 pixels wide minimum.
MAP:
Use your statement image in the top left corner and your more relevant contact
info under it (or vice versa). There are other places that can be capitalized, like
the top-center.
Play with your image and find the right configuration for you.
Note: The left usable zone is around 300 pixels wide and 600 pixels high for a
1280 pixels wide resolution.
EXPORT:
If you can choose your image format in your image editor, you should save your
image as .jpg with 80% quality. It will give you a *light*, (see above) but good
looking image.
Step 5: Browse for your image. Make sure that “tile background” is unchecked
(it is checked by default). Click on save changes.
Step 7: Change the background color to the one you like. Change the other
colors to match your theme. Click save changes.
