Starting from checking balances, balance transfer to viewing bank statements, all these procedures and formalities decreases the efficiency of the banking systems. Team BUET- BRB focused on these issues alongside other tangible issues and came up with An Easy Banking Service via Smart App, delivering some unique and innovative features which can ensure customer satisfaction and overall improvements in banking services. Important Features of this App: 1. This is a cross-platform and stand-alone application, supporting smart phones from android, iOS, BlackBerry, Windows OS. 2. One touch access to all types of bank accounts. 3. Customers can check account balance, bank statements from anywhere and anytime. 4. The app contains loan eligibility checker, which sends customer information to bank server for financial assessment. 5. Customized Ads allows the customer to receive notifications when the bank starts a new loan scheme. 6. Location Based Service provides information about the location of all the bank branches and ATM booths. It can also navigate him/her to the nearest ATM booth and branch. Feasibility and Significance of this app: 1. The number of smart phone users is on the rise in Bangladesh, especially Android supported smart phones. 2. The availability of internet with 3G and 4G connectivity will add newer dimensions in years to come. 3. Customers always aspire for a better service, a service that is easy to access, reduces physical efforts for every banking activity. 4. An important follow-up of this system is the integration of loan eligibility checker. This eligibility checker will programmatically assess if a particular customer is eligible for certain loans.
