Copy the files of the sample folders and subsequent to any location of the hard disk before use. Since the files in the sample folders are of read only, it is necessary to change their file attributes before using it. Please perform the following operations to remove the read only attributes of all files in the destination where you copied the sample files. Operating procedure: 1. Select a sample folder using the windows explorer. 2. Right-click a file in the sample folder and select the property. 3. Click the check mark on the "Read Only" to remove the attribute. (You should also remove the read only attributes of the files in the Resource, Others, Pou, and Body folders.) program: This is the GX Developer project used in Section 10.2 of the manual. This can be opened using GX Developer. sample.ios This is an I/O system setting file for sample programs. This can be opened and use from the I/O system setting window. sample.mon This is a device registration file for the sample programs. This can be opened and use from the Timing chart window of the Device memory monitor.

Precautions: Acrobat Reader is usable after installation by following operations: (1) To start Acrobat Reader, double-click the icon. (The Acrobat Reader icon is automatically generated on desktop after installation.) (2) Software License Agreement appears after Acrobat Reader has been started. Confirm the details and then select "Accept". The PDF data can be viewed by the above operations. Acrobat Reader is unusable if "Accept" has not been selected on the Software License Agreement. (It is not possible to view the PDF data while Acrobat Reader is unusable.)
