Is Infosys still a good bet for investors?

Of late, Infosys has been having a bad run: dismal numbers, a visibly slowing industry, unstable management, aggressive competitors and a rigid business model. All these factors have combined to take the sheen off the company.

Yet, company CEO and managing director SD Shibulal has declared that Infosys is aiming to position itself for the future, having recently embarked on a drive to transform from a pure play technology company to a consulting firm in the IBM style makeover. Unfortunately, the numbers being currently churned out by the IT giant do not lend credence to this argument.
